Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic is reshaping the landscape of Chinese dispute resolution. aim this article to outline China's various approaches such development in times global pandemic. primarily examines features online arbitration China with a special focus on significance party autonomy and authority tribunal handling virtual hearings. This trend prompts question as whether hearings use digital technology ensure protection data privacy. Further, analyses impacts resolution litigation different sets new rules adopted handle It concludes that successfully addressed most raised questions terms privacy protection, processes through which becomes increasingly digitalised seems be an irreversible warrants further research into its consequences.
